Become Stronger, More Resilient, and the Fittest You Yet!

What is the purpose of the 12 Week Challenge?
Our class programming is already designed in 12-week training blocks, ensuring ongoing progress in fitness and strength. We have seen firsthand that those who consistently show up and commit to the fundamentals get the best results. So, we asked ourselves, how do we create a challenge that rewards commitment and guarantees results for those who turn up?
This 12-week challenge is the answer. It’s designed to keep you engaged, accountable, and progressing—not just for a few weeks but as a long-term commitment to your fitness.
What are the key outcomes participants can expect?
You’ll establish a consistent routine that delivers real, lasting results. Anticipate increased muscular strength, improved metabolism, and enhanced bone density, all while developing better posture, balance, and joint health to move without pain. Your cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and mobility will enhance, making daily life and training easier. That’s just the physical benefits—participants will also cultivate social connections, reduce stress, boost confidence, sharpen their minds, and enhance their sleep quality so they wake up energised and ready to perform at their best.
Everything that helps you live happier, longer, and healthier!
How is the 12-week challenge structured (phases, themes, weekly focus)?
Participants compete in pairs, registering as a team to keep each other accountable and motivated. The challenge works on a point accumulation system, ensuring that results come from smart, sustainable training rather than overdoing it. You can only earn one point per day, reinforcing the habit of showing up regularly without encouraging excessive training.
Tracking Progress & Earning Points
Everything is in the classes!
If you don’t do the classes, we have programs you can follow or do your own and still earn points. Everyone in the challenge must retest at The Training Ground every four weeks to assess progress and MAYBE earn your team more points. The testing measures are body composition, strength metrics, and VO2 Max tests. An improvement adds points to your team’s total, while a decline will deduct points, creating a layer of accountability. This prevents crash dieting, overtraining, or unsustainable fitness approaches—because the only way to consistently score points is to train smart, recover well, and fuel correctly.
Class Programming & Training Focus
To support these goals, our classes will follow a 5/3/1 strength progression designed to improve your performance in the strength and VO2 max tests every four weeks. This structured approach ensures steady gains in strength, endurance, and overall fitness, setting you up for long-term success.
If you’ve ever struggled with consistency or wondered what actually works, this challenge forces you to take the sustainable path—because that’s the only way to keep progressing and winning. There are no shortcuts, just smart training and real results.
How many sessions per week are recommended?
The beauty of this challenge is that you choose what works best for you—whether that’s 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 7 days per week.
Our class programming is structured so that daily training is possible without overtraining, but we also recognise that not everyone wants or needs to train every day. Studies show that even as little as two sessions per week can lead to consistent strength improvements if done consistently.
The key is commitment to your chosen schedule. Whether you train twice a week or every day, the challenge will motivate you to show up regularly and stay consistent—because that leads to real progress.
Is there a nutrition guide or meal plan?
Yes—but only if you need it.
In previous challenges, we made nutrition mandatory, and many of our members have already learned how to fuel their bodies effectively and are still seeing great results. We don’t want to force anyone to pay for something they don’t need.
So, nutrition is optional for this challenge. If you want advice, you can opt for structured guidance to support your training and results. If you’ve already done that with us and are confident in your nutrition, enjoy turning up and training well.
What is the role of coaches in guiding participants?
The coaches are here to facilitate and guide participants throughout the challenge. Utilise them for extras or pick their brains. They are here to help the participants succeed.
How will participants be held accountable?
Accountability is built into the challenge through turning up to sessions and training partners. Studies show that we are far more likely to stick to our training goals when someone is relying on us.
It’s easy to join a gym and tell yourself you’ll go every day—but life often gets in the way without accountability. However, when you’ve committed to a partner and a team, skipping a session means letting someone else down, and that’s much harder to do.
This challenge leverages human psychology to create better habits. By having a teammate to train with, motivate you, and hold you accountable, you’ll build consistency in a way that feels natural and, ultimately, leads to lasting results.
Is there a Private Group?
Yes—the TTG Tribe Chat on TrainHeroic.
This is where Tamas will provide weekly updates, including team rankings, progress highlights, and key information to keep you on track. It’s also a space to stay connected with others in the challenge, share wins, and keep the motivation high throughout the 12 weeks.
What are the prizes or incentives for completing the challenge?
A stronger, more resilient, and more consistent you!
But beyond that, we’re adding a few extra incentives:
🏆 Winning Team Recognition – The top team will earn bragging rights and be immortalised on our annual challenge plaque at the gym.
🎁 Gifts of Appreciation – At our mid-year get-together, we’ll recognise and reward individuals who showed exceptional commitment, progress, or leadership with small gifts of appreciation.
