Frequently Asked Questions
Which membership is right for me?
It depends on how you want to train and how much support you'd like.
To summarise each option:

Strength & Conditioning is for people who want structured, coach-led group training.
Training Club combines 24/7 gym access with unlimited Strength & Conditioning classes and Small-Group Pilates for a complete training experience.

Complete Coaching is our highest level of support, adding weekly 60-minute one-on-one coaching to your personalised training plan.
Still unsure? Get in touch by calling or sending an email to have us point you in the best direction for your circumstances.
Can I try The Training Ground before joining?
Absolutely. You don't need to commit to a membership to experience the gym.
A One-Day Pass is available if you'd like to train with us for a single visit, or choose a Week Pass for more time to experience the facility before deciding.
Both the One-Day and Week Pass give you the same benefits as Training Club; therefore, you can come and trial any classes and have 24/7 access during the pass's timeframe.
You're also welcome to enquire about booking a time with staff to have a look around before joining.
Can I tour the gym before joining?
Yes.
We'd be happy to show you around The Training Ground, talk through how you like to train and answer any questions about our memberships, coaching and services.

Do I get 24/7 access to the gym?
Training Ground Access, Training Club, Performance Coaching and Complete Coaching all include 24/7 gym access, allowing you to train whenever suits your schedule.
Our Strength & Conditioning membership is designed specifically for members attending our coached Strength & Conditioning classes. This allows us to have a cheaper option for those who just require the coach-led classes and won't need to pay for parts of a membership they will not use.
Are Strength & Conditioning classes suitable for beginners?
Yes.
Our Strength & Conditioning sessions are structured and coached, with exercises and training loads adjusted to suit the individual.
You don't need to already be strong or experienced in the gym. Our coaches will help you understand the movements, choose appropriate loads and progress over time.
We have a dedicated Classes FAQ section on our Classes Page.
What's the difference between Training Club and Performance Coaching?
Training Club gives you access to our complete training environment, including 24/7 gym access, unlimited Strength & Conditioning classes and Small-Group Pilates.
Performance Coaching adds a more individualised approach. You'll receive personalised programming based on your goals, strategic coaching check-ins and progress assessments to help guide your training over time.
If you want more independence, Training Club is a great fit.
If you want your training specifically planned and monitored for you, Performance Coaching provides that additional level of support.
Do you accept Fitness Passport?
Yes.
The Training Ground accepts Fitness Passport, providing eligible members with the same membership benefits as Training Club.
This is only available for organisations that have the Titanium Tier with Fitness Passport. You can check which tier your company has from inside your Fitness Passport App.
If you already have Fitness Passport, contact us or visit our Fitness Passport page for information on getting started.
Can I change my membership later?
Yes.
We understand that your training goals, schedule and the level of support you need can change over time.
If you decide you'd benefit from more coaching or want to change the way you train with us, speak with our team and we'll help you find the membership that best suits you.
What happens after I join?
Once you've selected your membership and completed your sign-up, all the information you require will be sent to the email you provided to ensure you are comfortable starting at The Training Ground without needing to speak with any staff first.
That initial welcome email contains:
-
Details on your membership
-

-
Your login details and how to access the facility
-
Our induction video to complete a virtual induction and answer all of your facility questions.
If you're ever unsure about what to do next, our coaches are here to help.
Do you have toilets and showers?
Yes.
The Training Ground has toilet and shower facilities available for members, making it easy to train before work, during your lunch break or on the way home.
